ALL OF OUR PROVEN PLANS ARE:

    With movement drills, tactical practice, finger training, and overall body strength and conditioning. Each program is rooted in a non-linear periodized approach (with a high/low approach at the more advanced levels).

    Delivered through our mobile app, with videos and descriptions for each exercise and weekly progressions built in.

  • Interactive & Collaborative
    Optional access to a coach-monitored group chat with other Proven Plan climbers available. Direct 1-on-1 coaching also available (on a limited basis at additional charge.)

We created our Just Climb More Proven Plans because we feel that the advice eager beginners most often hear - “Just climb more!” - is a bit of a cop-out answer given by people who don’t know any better. But we do, and so should you. Of course you should climb more - but not JUST climb more. Instead, these Proven Plans will help you learn how to engage in deliberate movement practice and teach you the tactics required to more efficiently reach your goals, all while making you stronger in the process.

Using the Boulder Better Proven Plan was extremely convenient and has increased my bouldering by two grades — this is great considering I’ve never really bouldered, was going to school full-time, and working and volunteering part-time! Blake was extremely accommodating in adjusting the plan/workouts to meet my time/facility constraints and constantly checked in with me to see how things were going. For those who need some guidance (there are videos) and don’t have a lot of free time messing with spread sheets (super user-friendly interface), this is the just the thing! I’m starting another round of training with the Climb 5.12 (Boulders Only) Proven Plan and I am super excited to see if I can make it happen!

Our intermediate level Proven Plans are stamina-heavy explorations of the movement, tactics, and strength/power required to climb harder. At this level, we begin exploring finger strength in depth, as well as learning to keep movement skills together when faced with fatigue - a necessary skill for making the most of your climbing time.

The Boulder Strong Proven Plan was so great! It really helped me get back in shape quickly after taking a bunch of time off. My coach was responsive, helpful and encouraging. Having him to check in with was a great addition to the app (which helped keep me organized, on track, and motivated). The drills were helpful and I saw a lot of improvement pretty quickly. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Choose the plan that best fits you (or we can help you choose), and within 1-2 business days, we’ll send you everything you need to get setup with our mobile app (iPhone and Android compatible). There you’ll see your plan, with each training session laid out for you, including instructional videos of drills and exercises.  We’ll give suggestions on session frequency, but you’ll be able to build your own schedule. Once your plan wraps up, we can help you decide on the next best step in your training.  

COACH COMMUNICATION OR NOT?

While we are firm believers that coaching can make a huge difference, we also recognize that it isn’t for everyone. If you’re highly self-motivated or just prefer to do it on your own, our no-coach option might be perfect for you. Frankly, we recommend that most people do a cycle or two without coaching - it’s important to learn your own strengths, shortcomings, and leanings so that you know how/where a coach could best help you.

If you do opt for coach communication, your coach will make any necessary initial adjustments and then follow up with weekly check-in’s. Need more? You can always get in touch with your coach directly through the mobile app, so it’s entirely up to you to set the level of communication you prefer, whether it’s questions about your plan or tactical advice for your current project.
